Are women hypocritical about cheating? I mean, just at the sound of the word CHEAT, and we roll up our sleeves, remove our loop earrings and get ready for a cat fight. This scenario applies to when your man has stepped out of line or your best friend’s man… and since you wanna be seen as “loyal” (and you like some drama), you wanna be all up in that. LOL! Women.
Agree with me here that men get A LOT of condemnation when they cheat but when it is the woman who instigated the cheating, we tend to go a little soft on them. Why is this the case? I mean, look at the series-Scandal, when the cheating results in “true love”, women believe the cheating was necessary. Double standards much? Take a look at some female Hollywood stars who stole men from their wives or serious girlfriends. See anyone you know?
-Alicia Keys stole producer Swizz Beatz from his then wife and are now married with 2 children. (Yeah. We never saw this coming!)
-Gabrielle Union dated NBA superstar Dwayne Wade while he was still married. They are now married. (Ha! Being Mary Jane…)
-Kim K was rumored to have stolen Kanye West from Amber Rose. (I don’t even wanna go there. All these people crazy.)
-Angelina Jolie stole Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston who had been together with Brad for 7 freaking years. Wooooow. (hata hawa, 7 years waiting for what? Jesus? To come officiate the wedding? LOL.)

Women are also less likely than men to have an affair that “just happens,” because we tend to think longer and harder about the situation, experts say.
Why DO Women Cheat?
1. Women are more likely to cheat UP- with a better looking man, more money, more err… girth? While men are more likely to cheat around in fact with less attractive, less desirable women than their current. (Savages! If you’re gonna cheat on me please make an effort.)
2. Women cheat for attention and affection- to fill an emotional void. Using another partner to transition out of a bad marriage is one of the common reasons women have affairs.
3. Many may not think this but women also cheat for sex. Yes, fellas, we want, NEED sex too! Sex isn’t just about a “bang bang” for women (well…then again it can be if it’s that time of the month and you just want a quickie) but for a woman, it’s more about that connection with her partner. The spiritual bond and supernatural feeling that comes after the “oohs “ and “ahhs”.

Maybe that’s why when a woman cheats we kinda almost feel like there had to be a deeper reason for her to do so? And if she instigates the cheating, steals a man from another woman, she really had long term plans with this man because she truly believes she will be a better woman to the man than his current.
