“This is my life, and I choose to enjoy and to prosper in it.” – This was today’s affirmation. What I love about this statement is the truth that lies within. Happiness just like prosperity is a choice. When you wake up in the morning and declare you will have a great day, you surely will. Doesn’t mean that that statement will wade off any crazy matatu drivers off your path, or you won’t come across a challenge in the day, but you will know how to maneuver and be victorious. Perhaps that is why many people ask why I seem to be happy everyday especially on air. I wake up with positivity and excitement with a hope that I will be and do great things. That I will ENJOY my day and will fight anything that tries to take that joy away with positive vibes. I believe that I will have a great radio show and I will prosper in whatever circumstance. That those who look up to me will indeed be impressed by my deeds. I CHOOSE things to go that way. Then I say a prayer and I am out the door. I am learning that loving yourself means taking charge over your life and not letting outside elements control your mood. Only YOU/I can decide how happy we want to be, and how prosperous too.
